This is my first post of what will be many as I am pleased to say I have gone and built myself this website as we are on lockdown with the COVID 19 pandemic it has given me the time to do it. The Shop section is still under construction at the moment and only a test product is there. This will be fully open in the next week or two for framed prints to be purchased. I love to hear peoples views and thoughts on my images, please feel free to leave a comment and don’t forget to sign up to my mailing list to keep up to date with future posts.
Well, I sneaked out in the middle of the night to conduct some more night time alchemy by popping up the road to Combestone Tor up at Hexworthy. I arrived at the parking area expecting it to be empty but was surprised to find no less than six other vehicles camped up all with occupants all clearly doing a Cummings by having their own interpretation of the no camping or staying overnight rules of the lockdown.
After navigating around the Tor and keeping some social distancing from the Dartmoor Ponies that had gathered to check me out, I set out to capture the Milkyway. At this time of year, it sits low enough to the horizon to capture most of its arc and this is what I wanted to achieve.
